Walesy 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Aye, they managed a pointless speed activated spoiler etc etc but a warning buzzer for the lights was pushing it too far

Walesy 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Just found this post - there's a link to a 'how to' guide if you fancy having a go at one.

Dub_nut_g60 0 Posted September 24, 2006 easypops i dont think its actually as bad as it looks/sounds!! I thought it sounded complicated but after reading it a couple of times and drawing a little picture it all makes complete sense!! Basically its: 1. disconnect battery 2. find wires for door open switch 3. splice in length of wire to thin brown/white wire and attach to black wire on buzzer 4. take out headlight switch 5. splice another length of wire into red/grey wire and attach to red wire on buzzer 6. open door, switch on lights and hear buzz 7. put car back together 8. never worry about leaving lights on again! Ive attached a diagram which might (or might not help!!) help. Colors wont e accurate but hopefully you will get the gist! Looks easier than making an uprated headlight loom, and if i can do that anyone can!! EDIT - pic looked better when i drew it!!
