Toad 0 Posted September 24, 2006 I've just been to a mates place who has a spare 2l golf engine knocking about, I thought it was a 16v, but it isn't, It's a 8v engine with the code, KAT, it's out of a L reg automatic golf estate, and is 85kW apparently. I know that the 6A and 9A engines fit, but i've not come across this one before. My question is, If I put a Kr head, and sump on the block, would it fit my corrado? Does it have a different bell housing, flywheel (I assume so). Would it be much work to get her to fit, essentially.
