akacheesy 0 Posted October 8, 2003 So I decided to replace my chrome free VW badge with a nice new shiny one, popped the old one off and now I' try to pop the new one in it doesn't seem to clip in right. Linus Van Pelt 0 Posted October 8, 2003 I had the same problem with mine... What I did was just change the old silver badge bit, and use the old rubbery bit and plastic thang... (descriptive huh?) :lol: I think there's actually some clip you also need to get, but I never bothered as it's stayed put when I changed it over... In retrospect, I think they gave me the wrong one, becuase the plastic bit's that go in the holes were too close together & the black rubber surround was at the wrong angle... probably a Passat/Jetta one or something instead... chrishill 0 Posted October 8, 2003 got the same problem with mine, swapped the rear badge and broke one of the little blue raw-plug looking things :S stuck it on with sticky stuff i had in my toolbox because i didnt think you'd be able to get them from the dealer, I'll have to give them a bell now :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
