Goldie 2 Posted November 1, 2006 Got a bag of assorted grommets. Next question. Took the boot trim panel off and am wondering now what the best way of lowering the motor out? do i need to lower the spoiler control set up as well?? Id appreciate any tips as i dont fancy charging in and knackering anything to do with the spoiler.
just_say_meth 0 Posted November 1, 2006 When i did mine i didn't really need to move anything, just really disconnected the wiper and motor, undid all the mounting points and then jiggled it a bit to get the motor to come out. only took me bout a half hour. Got my grommits from halfrauds, but i stuck a fair bit of plumbers tape around the grommit to make it a bit more water tight. HTH :)
Goldie 2 Posted November 1, 2006 Sounds good, it looks like there wont be room but ill give it a shot without moving the spoiler bits. How many mounting points did you have to undo?? Cheers for the advise.

Goldie 2 Posted November 2, 2006 Got the wiper off the car today, little bit of a fiddle removing the motor but i got there in the end. It makes the back end look so much better, with the spoiler up and down. Cheers for the tips and the how do guide.
