iggi 0 Posted November 13, 2006 hi folks. can anyone offer advice. 10 days ago i went to change dizzy cap. dizzy fell to bits. i buy a new one. car wont start. turns over but wont catch. i presume dizzy is duff. but i now have a spark. so thats fine. but still wont start. fuel is coming in to the fuel distributor thing ontop of airbox, going out to warm up regulator, coming back to fuel distributor thing. there is pressure at this end of the injector pipes, but nothing comes out of the injectors, when engine turned. i even swapped the whole lot over with borrowed parts, but still the same! doesnt even get near firing up. just a pop every few seconds of turning over (5th injector?). why has this happenned since i change dizzy?? (it ran fine b4, just wanted to change cap as it misfired a bit in traffic) i have checked all vacuum and air pipes. all ok. if anyone can help please reply! thanks.
