A-J 0 Posted December 27, 2006 I thought it was about time I posted pics of the Corrado I bought about a month ago. Its a '91 1.8 16v with 154k to be used as my daily driver while I save some cash to pay for the golfs respray. So far the starter has been replaced and I've put in a holeless parcel shelf courtesy of awesomecorrado. It had a good scrub last weekend and I took off that coupe badge at the back. I'll get rid of the naff aerial and probably replace the fag burned carpet and doorcard. First will be a service and new tyres. I have two tyres with punctures now which is a good excuse to get rid of them as they are *****. What was I thinking buying another VW so close to Christmas! CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted December 27, 2006 its in the blood... Nice ride. What golf ya got?
A-J 0 Posted December 27, 2006 The Golf is a mk2 8v GTi. I've gathered most of the parts to get it how I want it, cosmetically at least. Other than the dash, engine and drivers seat, it has been completely stripped and I think the only original panel is the roof! Should look good if it ever gets finished  Trying my best not to spend the Golf funds on the Corrado at the moment!

mattnorgrove 0 Posted December 28, 2006 to be used as my daily driver while I save some cash to pay for the golfs respray. Good luck! Owning the C AND saving money is a trick I haven't quite managed to pull off yet!! The C looks good by the way, and welcome to the forum!
A-J 0 Posted December 28, 2006 I'm in Lanarkshire, Bojmobile. The wheels are 15" with 195/45 tyres. Was thinking that this may not be the right width for a 7" wide wheel but the choice of 205/45 is poor.
CazzaVR 0 Posted December 28, 2006 Nice- like the wheels. 15's?
