dubbprince 0 Posted October 16, 2003 they just catch oil coming from your crankcase breather whic is fed back into your air filtration system. in plain english, if you don't want oil dripping everywhere this thing can catch it...especially if your 16 is a towny short journey car, its crankcase gunks up like chicken soup more..than if you take it on long journeys where the oil fumes and moisture mix to evaporate quicker. its upto you really, you don't NEED it as such, but it looks cool and does a nice job.
