Fuel Injectors 1.8 16v Question

Can someone tell me how the fuel injectors are supposed to sit in the 1.8 16v.

Are they meant to sit slackish in the engine and should you be able to just pull them out and push them back in without any tightening?

sounds like you need new o rings...they do pull out , but it takes a good yank usualy , they should be fairly firm and not rattle about

Best to tap injector back on with a mallet and screwdriver to ensure they are in nice and tight

all the ones ive had apart have plastic ones with a screw in brass top....if you bang the inj in you will break the plastic bits, theyre mega brittle

 

anyway they push in simply by hand...no need for a mallet
