Mint means it's exactly the same as if it's new.

Not a single negative thing could be said about it.

Moving to General seeing as though this isn't a technical thread.

Sorry to Hijack,is your car on Ebay vr6 south?

Might have seen your car or similar reg only yesterday unless they are using your pix

I hope not. It's been in the garage for the last few weeks. It was still there this morning when I looked. I'm off to check Ebay... My old Storm Grey VR is coming up for sale soon, the new owner is moving house and is selling due to not having a garage.

I'd say mint should mean exactly as it came from the shop/factory, never used, but as it's not direct from the shop, can't be considered new.

Here's some useless information for you, I was going to ask if anyone knew where it came from, but did a quick google search and came up with this...

The term "mint" apparently comes from coin collecting. When coins leave the royal mint, they are no longer brand new, but they are fresh from the mint, therefore they are "mint".

The term "minted" meaning rich also derives from the royal mint.

Didn't know that, didn't need to know it either, but it's a bit of pub ammo anyway
