L100PY_H 0 Posted January 29, 2007 I have seen several corrado 16 valvers with a black plastic cover that sits on top of the standard air box, with four circles on it, that covers the fuel injection system. What i'm after is will this fit to my 1991 1.8 16v corrado :?: :?: They look sooo much better and far neater than seeing a mess of fuel lines emanating from on top of the air boxin my opinion :!: If this cover will fit, do i just need to screw on the cover, or is there more to it? Any help / advice / pictures greatly appreciated :!: Helen. ( L100PY_h )
nocrap 0 Posted January 29, 2007 I believe that it will fit, the cover screws in to 2 studs on the front corners of the cover.......
davidwort 0 Posted January 29, 2007 there is a cover specifically for the 1.8 16v metering head, VW may be able to order one for you. part no 051 133 399 the 2L 16v one is the same part number but with an 'F' suffix
nocrap 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Just curious davidwort, do you know what makes them different?
davidwort 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Just curious davidwort, do you know what makes them different?# no idea, but the 2L metering head does have the extra sensor on the wing side and the differential pressure regulator on the other side that the 1.8 doesn't
L100PY_H 0 Posted January 30, 2007 I don't supppose anybody has any photos to illustrate the fitment?? Helen.
JBOB 0 Posted January 30, 2007 I think   that the 1.8 version just clips/slides onto the top of the fuel lines and the 2.0 one uses 2 bolts on the front of it to attach. I preferred the look of the 2.0 one so used double sided sticky pads
