90 16v door cards same as L reg VR6?

Just wondered at what point C doorcards changed from early 'switch flush in the doorcard' type to the later 'switch lower down the doorcard type? Would the cards from a 90 16V fit in an L plate VR? cheers!

Ive not seen anyone fit late to early, but I changed myn from early to late....

 

change over was F '89 to 1993 K/L reg onwards..

I'd be inclined to say the chances of a L-reg Corrado having early door cards to be slim to nothin

Not a straight fit unless you want to change switchgear too and that won't fit either..
