funboxvr6 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Hi I've lost the circular badge that sticks onto the top of the gear knob, i.e. the one that shows the gear positions. Does anybody know if these are available, where, and at what cost. Many thanks in advance.
Goldie 2 Posted March 21, 2007 I was wondering about this... Ive got one where the leathers is shot and another where the top badge isnt good, can they be removed easily?? I reckon it may be easier for you to get a knob where the leather is damaged....
funboxvr6 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Hi, the badges are stuck on with a double sided tape, I'm not sure how hard they are to remove. I woudn't have thought it was that hard as mine fell off! I put it in a 'safe' place with the intention of sticking it back on - It's not there anymore....

L100PY_H 0 Posted March 21, 2007 funboxvr6 I have a vgc gear knob badge that you seek!!! Not sure how much they're worth, let me know if you want it. Cheers. (Removal:- Wedge a small flat blade screwdriver between the badge and gear knob and simply lever out! Prob best to warm on a radiator first to soften glue.) Bojmobile 0 Posted March 21, 2007 You can just pop it off with a screwdriver if you're careful.

jonnyboyo 0 Posted March 22, 2007 I popped my badge off by removing the gear knob and pushing a philips screwdriver inside the knob pushing the badge off. Tried prising the badge off but it started to damage it as it was well stuck down. Best to push it off from inside.
