kr inlet cam pros and cons

hello after reading about the possibility of changing the inlet cam on my 9a 2ltr 16v engine for the inlet cam from the kr engine i started wondering what are the benefits and what are the down sides to this mod .

for example is their an increase in bhp and if so around how much ?

All good, no bad, as long as the car is re-set up correctly and that is a big problem with Corrado's and Passat

bog standard 9A's do have a lovely flat torque curve though (for a valver), even if it does run out of steam at high revs.
