what throttle body to use?????????????

right , ive just got a 20vt inlet manifold that i will be using on my 16v turbo when its back from welding and im just wondering which throttle body to use . ive been told to use the mk3 gti 8v ABA one but im just wonderin if there is any others i could use e.g mk3 gti 8v 2e throttle body

can i use the vr6

they have to be 'drive by wire'

im not that clued up about throttle bodys so any help will be gr8

No good I'd say, as you need the throttle position sensor. You wont have one on your 16v engine.

You could use that one, plus that also looks like it has the stepper motor idle valve. With the right Megasquirt you can control that and do without the standard 16v ISV.

The USA's Mk3 2L aba throttle body bolts up perfectly to the 20V 1.8T intake manifold and it has a throttle position sensor. Here is the one I have on my 20VG60 motor that I am slowly working on

the 16v abf throttlebody is larger than the 8v 2e 1 but if you elongate the holes, it fits
