Pagani Zonda. Sexy?

Went to MPH last weekend. Yes, I watched a Top Gear stage show... and I loved it! Anyway, saw a Zonda (well three of them) in the metal for the first time and I have to say I am now converted. They were among the most beautiful cars there. Anyway, here's some pics of two of them and some other stuff. :D

 

 

 

 

The blonde mop in the VXR8 is my girlfriend. That car had the most comfortable seats ever!

I was there too, it was a good laugh. My mate crapped himself during the 3-D bit when the first missile exploded, and those 'cars' they made themselves were priceless! :lol:

Those Zondas were gorgeous, I've always had a soft spot for them and to see them for real, up close and personal was great. The Spyker in the background is a very ugly car, but has a wicked interior. I particularly liked the Aston section, one of which you have in the photos. Quite a few were sold by Sunday afternoon! There were a lot of fezzas and porkers there though.

i should drag myself along to one of these again, still remember seeing the corrado and xj220 at the car show years ago. was only small :lol:

 

zonda looks very nice from the front pic, i just hate the rear, its like they ran out of ideas after doing the front end/cockpit area :(

I think there were more Lambos than anything else though. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere there. I wasn't expecting it to be like that.

 

Those explosions had my Girlfriend jumping out of her seat. Well funny! The stunt drivers were pretty cool. Shame there was no Veyron. I just wanted to hear it.

Yeah, my Girlfriend is crazy about them. She likes them as much as I like Corrados. Which is a lot! :lol:

 

We will have one one day. The Roush ones are a bit special. Defo want the suspension pack if you go for one of them....

Yep dead right. I was never overwhelmed by them on Top Gear etc, however having seen one up close I was seriously impressed. They are incredible cars, the finish was way above what I was expecting. The switchgear, all the carbon fibre, exhausts etc, its all so bespoke and purposeful. Its a lot of money but you really can see where its been spent on a Zonda.

I personally dont lik eth look of the Zonda but i had the pleasure of being overtaken by one and i liked the noise it made, it was doing about 90 and it just rumbled on by, the window had been wound down purely to listen..

I'm over the NEC for the Classic Car and MPH shows.. there IS a Veyron at the classic car show (saw it last night whilst setting up... though under a cover!) but looks like there is plenty more metal to go around and drool at if your pics are anything to go by! :)

No worries mate. I thought of you as soon as I saw it! :D If you haven't seen one before I warn you now... it's probably bigger than you think it is. I guess I was thinking it would be as small as the original, which was never gonna happen really.

 

I wish I had a decent picture of the black SLR that was there. That's another car I've only fully learned to appreciate after seeing it in real life. All I have is a vid on my mobile and few pics of the engine because by the time we got round to it the digi camera had died, and we didn't have spare batteries.

 

The cars there were absolutely out of this world. I could hardly take it all in.
