what seats fit into the front of a rado??

is this for direct fit or fit, but with modification or addition of a subframe??

Nope they won't fit without modification and will probably sit too high.

 

The corrado shares seat rails with Mk2 golfs, but if you replace corrado seats with uncomfortable Mk2 seats you are nuts plus they will sit too high.

 

Mk2 recaros will slide in but sit too high.

 

About the only seats that will work straight off and not sit too high are std corrado seats or corrado recaro subframes + the recaros of your choice.....

Um, Mk1 golfs maybe some polos will fit in thats it.

 

Oh yeah the first VAG seat ibizas seats use the same runners. Will sit too high tho!

sorry for my first stupid comment :) but i have fitted rover recaros into my corrado. all i did was get some mk2 subframes and welded them into a framework to fit the recaros onto, they dont have the height adjustment, but go back and forward perfectly.

Yeah, in fact almost _any_ recaro seat not just VW supplied ones.

i gathered they are as rare as rocking horse poop :(

 

so if i was to simply weld a corrado base to them would that work?
