GTi.Si 0 Posted January 29, 2008 What clutch should I go for in my Vortech charged VR? Mine blew earlier! Was driving quite hard when it went 'bang' and I lost all drive! All gears will select fine when its switched off and it makes a nasty grinding noise when the clutch pedel is depresed. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 30, 2008 I ran with a standard clutch on my 12psi Vortech with no problems. The Vortech blower doesn't make enough torque to break the clutch. I think something else caused your problem! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GTi.Si 0 Posted January 30, 2008 It had a new clutch 28k ago at steath. So somone must have been slipping it nicely! It felt as if it was spinning when it went yeasterday, but it must have been slipping. So I should just go for a new Sachs replacement then? Also what else could have caused this to happen?
