I love combining my 'hobbies' :-D

Yeah, I noticed that as well, isn't the normal scale out of 5 and if you financially contribute you get a sixth too? I guess 6 is 'one brighter' than everyone else... (Spinal Tap, anyone?)

That's how it happens. Have you notice the BBC iplayer goes up to 11?

Our consoles do it too!

Can you get a picture of a front wishbone rear bush please. My new one has come with holes in it and I'm not sure if thats correct?

4 equidistantly spaced holes in the rubber between the outside and inside? If so, that is correct.

Once you line them up, you will see the big hole is to let you access the vertical subframe bolts for what I call the subframe wings (the bits which go up into the chassis rail either side \_/)

The other holes are just from manufacturing: you don't need metal in those areas for the wishbone to retain all of it's strength though :salute:

You're talking about the metal part, but he's talking about the rubber bush. I would say that we have the holes in the wishbone comprehensively covered. Good job!

Yes, I too enjoy combining my "hobbies" of messing around with Corrados and dogging.

yeah but a lowered vw coupe is a poor choice in dogging vehicle...

I would have thought.

:norty:

Ahh.. So P'son, thats why your were cringing at my thread pics.

I will have to take more care as I see its a subject close to your heart.

:)

Talking of bell ends (well, bell housings) - could you get a cool pic of the VW logo on the bottom of the gearbox? :)

New avatar material? 8)

I'll just need someone to lift the car up and hold it at a 60 degree angle...

Yes, can get a pic, but will need to get a mirror angled under there so that jacks and stands won't be required :salute: A daylight job methinks.

Tadaa!

And here's how it was done:

Good effort  Its cleaner than mine is I'm sure.

I was surprised how clean it was, but suddenly thought 'perhaps I should give it a quick brush' - after the pics were taken

Would make a good avatar like this: 8)

Trying to think of other Corrado specific emblems that would make good abstract avatars...

That's not corrado specific, I think Mk2 boxes have that plate on the bottom too.

:( But it is specifically on my Corrado

Good picture though.

:) Thanks

why, scared of a challenge huh huh ??

What about some non standard car angle shots.

Most of the cars taken on here are from pretty standard angles.

Maybe some different perspectives?

The challenge is set.

Hmmm... like lying on the other side of a hump-back bridge and taking underside shots of a C flying over it at speed?

Thinking of which, are there any proper rally Corrados (without the 'e', that is)? That would be seriously cool :shades:
