Interior Colour Options on later cars?

I have some leather Recaro's in my 1995 VR6 and was wondering what colour they are?

 

They are a light silver grey with matching leather door cards, carpets and headlining. I was told when I bought the car that the interior was quite rare and 'silver' in colour.

 

I am asking as I got some OE grey mats and they are too dark for my interior. I have found some other mats called 'Platinum' which sound right but I cannot see any pictures of them.

 

Anyone any idea what interior colour options there were on the later VR6's?

They'll be grey mate, they came with Grey, Black or Beige interiors :eek:

That is what I kinda of thought m8

 

But I am almost 100% sure mine is lighter than grey though.

 

I have the OE grey mats and they dont match my carpet colour at all (far too dark) :confused4:

Hmmm perhaps they are grey then.

 

Looking at different pics it looks like I have the dark grey mats that would fit with the dark grey carpet in black leather specced cars.

 

Here is pic of mine you can just make out carpet (and my ugly sis). Anyone else have any pics of grey?

 

 

Out of interest what are the colour options in the 95 brochure Neil?

Black leather - optional for both standard and recaro seats.

Light beige leather.

Light beige - Connolly leather for standard seats.

Grey leather.

 

Black splitt cloth.

Grey atout cloth.

Black geometric cloth for recaro sport seats.

So they don't actualy list grey leather on a recaro then? So mine could be a different colour to std leather seat grey :D

They could be yeah, as in someone could have had them re-covered in a different colour leather, but they look like standard grey Recaros to me, whether it states it in a book or not, they were available (allthough they're fairly rare) :)

Hard to say without seeing them :lol:

 

They'll either be original mats, or aftermarket ones :shrug: Either way I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're a slightly different colour to the carpets.
