Just sold G60? dont know what to get? GOT A NEW MOTOR!!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys just after some advice/thoughts

I just sold my g60 on saturday to a forum member so thats good, and this is the first time im really not sure what i want, I have a budget of £2500.

I want to ideally get a bike but by the time ive done my test insured and wont have too much too spend on a newish bike, then there is the space issue - i think how ever much id like to convince myself i dont............... I do need a car.

So the i already have a bit for insurance as the policy on the g60 was just re-newed,

So I want a reliable car, has to have good looks, still a bit of power, defo be a drivers car, but mpg 28+, under a 100k with FSH? for under £2500 any ideas,

ive got the afternoon off so going to look at one tonight but i will let u know how I fair later,

any ideas/thoughts?

Cheers Andy

How about another G60 - fits all the criteria :D

Otherwise, Puma, Fiat Coupe, 200SX, Prelude, Celica, MR2

lol was thinking after i posted that id set myself up for that comment Andy

you've just thrown it wide open........

hadnt really thought about anything not german was thinking p-reg a4 something like that I do like those celicas about 94 plate though,

200sx - i think are good but not loving the styling

Fiat coupe - noooooo way"!!

I've heard the puma's are good to drive but a bit hairdressery,

i think i want something more reliable/spacier than the alfa/fiat.

as see them as less daily friendly than the corrado

because of my budget its proving quite a hard choice,

If quality / solidity is more important than outright performance / handling etc then why not an Audi Coupe - built like tanks and have a timeless elegance about them.

If you're looking for sheer fun, put the perceptions of others to one side and drive a Puma

OR

Peugeot 306 GTi-6 - elegant stling, practical, quick, great handling, decent spec and a good owners side to things

guys i brought a new car today what do you think....................

saw this liked and a bargain price too hell of alot of car for the money

318is coupe, one of the later models, montreal blue, 1/2 leather, 16's, factory fitted M-Tech kit

108k service history, new clutch and tyres, full bmw toolkit all in tact and bmw torch fitted in glove box still works, spare wheel is an alloy too.

all i can say is very happy with it and its on of the best cars ive driven on the motor way 37mpg on way home

also it has a special little toy it came with a factory fitted LSD,

Cheers Andy
