Just wondering if they're having problems?

 

I need a few bits'n'pieces and e-mailed them last week for a quote.

Got a response, but when I tried to call today to confirm the order and pay I couldn't get through on either of the numbers I have??

Website is years out of date and if you email they only tell you to ring them.

 

Ended up going to the local stealers in the end. :(

Oh well.

Would prefer to give them my business than the stealers.

But since customer service is as high on their agenda as VW's. I guess I'll take my chances and order the bits from VW.

I Always use my dealers mate and their customer service is fantastic but i guess that depends on the said dealer, I've been using the same one for 15 years so am on first name terms too, so i guess going regular can help matters. I dont buy everything there though but the biggest majority of our bits come from there.

You are lucky. My local dealership really couldn't give a crap about parts supply. They seem to only do it because they are required to do so by the franchise agreement. Absolutely strictly no discounts, always pay in advance, they rarely get the order right, and rarely get the bits in on the day they say they will and they NEVER call to let you know ...

I had trouble getting through last week, they didn't answer on Saturday. Never had an email back from them but got stuff all sorted in the end.

The number you posted was also dead yesterday but it's working today. Weird!

 

I've e-mailed Vagparts.com for prices now instead.

I'm in Belgium at the moment and my French isn't good enough to have complicated discussions at the local Stealers. :)

Perhaps I've always been lucky as I've never had any problems. Last used them about 10 days ago, got through first time, great prices and delivered 2 days later. 8)
