CazzaVR 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Anyone heard of/tried this? Basically just involves filling up both male and female MAF plug with dialectric grease (from Maplins etc) and apparently smooths idle and overall performance. Been reading up on it on MKIVs & Briskoda and the general concensus is that it's well worth doing- especially as it only costs a couple of quid. Apparently the grease totally stops any arcing etc within the plug, which could normally occur with just air present instead. The electrical interference/arcing etc could possibly be almost non-existant, but as the MAF is so sensitive, it could affect it. Have ordered some and will give it a go on the vRS. Originally thought that it was one of those cheap placebo type mods, but so many people have had success with it, it's gotta be worth a go.
