jaded2882 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Has anyone had these fitted? What are your thoughts? Can't find any threads on them! http://g-werks.com/Products_Misc_Phenol ... fault.aspx
Purple Tom 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I thought all Corrado's had cable operated throttle's rather than drive-by-wire? If so, this device wouldn't be of any benefit!
jaded2882 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Guess it must be for other VWs, my mistake!
bcstudent 0 Posted November 23, 2008 A few people on the Seat Cupra forum have them installed and give good feedback. I reckon they're way over-priced though. I find the throttle response of my Leon to be plenty sharp enough since the remap; that didn't cost much more than the Sprint Booster and provided an extra chunk of power too. Toad 0 Posted November 23, 2008 As far as I am aware it just makes the ecu think that the pedal has been pushed a bit further, up to the limit of the original pedal. It's a trck used by some remappers to make you think that the car is more responsive when actually all that has happened is that the pedal sensitivity has been increased. jaded2882 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Crafty... Surely if you wanted to go fast you'd just put the pedal right down anyway
