VR6 spark plugs

Off to the shops tomorrow to get spark plugs for the VR6, is there any particular kind I need to get? Do I have to get them from the dealership?

Ya, but do I need NGK Ninja quardrule platinum bad boys, or will any old spark plugs do?

:lol: no need for fancy plugs mate if your car is stock,even with ninja plugs i dont think you would feel any noticable difference :tongue:

I always go for platinum sparkies for the VR.

 

They are certainly stock for the later cars.

I'm using a place called PV Autoteile in Bielefeld, rang them today and got a quote of €28 (£25.95) for 6 x NGK Platinum spark plugs and €34 (£31.50) for 5 litres of 5/40 oil (although I need 6 litres for an oil change, right?), so I'm happy enough with that.

 

Oil change I can do easy, anything I need to do/be careful of taking off the spark plugs and fitting new ones?
