They do that to you dont they!

When I park mine up and walk away 9 times out of 10 I will turn back and have a look at it and think "damm they are a good looking car"

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who looks at my car for a long time! Sometimes I'll just stare out the kitchen window at it. :dorky:

 get a room!

Do you think it has something to do with my GF moving to London LOL

Just as well I love the Corrado's looks so much as the only other car that really 'does it for me' is this :luvlove:

Hah me too! Less of an issue now that its parked up in the garage and only used on sunny days but even then I sometimes take a look from the utility room (even if its got the cover on! )

i have been without my corrado for nearly 8 months, and i have really really missed it :( not having it on the drive and being able to mess around, and even cleaning it has really hurt :(

i can even say the same for numerous ex girlfriends

Ive been driving mine for 4 days now in the snow and ive loved every minute even though i got a speeding ticket within half an hour of bringing her from hibernation, at least i know its still quick...

I know its going against my religion letting the car get dirty sometimes its good just to enjoy it (until it gets put back to be after a full treatment clean)....

I have to agree with the sentiments on here. After 11 years I should be getting bored with the car and yet... when I return to the car in a car park I find myself glancing at the car thinking "you know what that still looks alright that does". Modern cars are just so big - the roofline on my car is at about the same height from the ground as the window ledge on a Ford Focus CMax.

It looks lean, sleek, aerodynamic and very quick just when it's parked up. It makes a MkV Golf or Ford Focus look like a builder's van in comparison. Frankly I can't think of many affordable modern cars that ring my bell in the same way.

I'm sure we're not alone in seeing our elderly cars with these rose-tints though. I'm willing to bet that most owners of MkII's, Beetles and RS Escorts feel exactly the same about modern stuff as we do about our cars.

I love the fact that ever time my parents come to visit, my dad always says "that is a really good looking car you have". This is from a a man that has owned a lot of very nice cars in the past - Porsches, TVR's to name a few! I think thats a seal of approval if ever there was one :D

I really dislike the modern design of headlights, big drawn out diamond or teardrop shapes, I thought Peugeot were probably the worst offenders :pukeright:

But not they're not the only ones.
