Roadie 0 Posted March 5, 2003 Glad the site is back up and running :compress: Does anyone know anywhere in the U.K. that will turn my Alloys into nice chromed ones  Seems to be loads of places in the US but not any here.
Robch 0 Posted March 5, 2003 Hey ROADHOG! Firstly do you want them actually chroming or mirror polishing? The result is quite similar. Chroming- This is a coating on top of the alloy. Polishing- This is when the laquer and paint from th alloy is taken off and the bare metal is polished to a mirror finish. Both have their pro's and con's too. But a guy that does both is Jeff Seddon (owner of B16 DUB)contact HTH

Roadie 0 Posted March 12, 2003 I'm certainly interested, I think chrome on cars is realy good. They don't seem to do it any more, it's all plastic now :( :fadein: *ROADHOG remembers the days of his old Mk1 Capri*mmmmm It's not something I'm gonna get done in a rush due to money and the organisation but I certainly want to get it done :D So please give me a quote and we will take it from there.
