Yandards 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Hello, There is a large list of VAG-COM help in the VAG-COM thread, but I am going to guess that you are using a cheapo VAG-COM from ebay - they frequently dont work with the ABS controllers.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted May 21, 2009 Its a common problem with this, which i do think occurs due to the cheaper USB connections from Ebay as Yandards said. On your computer, If you go into the control panel > manage devices > and go down the list to COM PORTS there you can change the USB port settings. You need to change the 'latency' setting for the USB port the wire is plugged into. I changed mine to 5 and it was fine cant remember if it needs to go up or down, sorry. Toad 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Use the search, this has been answered a couple of times recently... As mentioned above, search for "Latency" and you'll find an answer.
Supercharged 2 Posted May 21, 2009 This also happens with poor battery's, make sure it's good and fully charged before connecting.
