need an exhaust middle/back box

 

may have sourced a back box and have seen this aswell, is this the middle section or some other part?

It looks like the middle section from the cat back. The bars are the rear of the pipe. It's also for a late car as it's got the bar type hanger rather than the hooks you need for your early (pre 92) car.

don't think thats long enough to be a decat pipe.

is that part at the top left in the pic a rod that is meant to hook at both sides? isn't that where the exhaust gets hung underneath the rear seats/in between rear wheels?

You will need 1 more part.

 

The section of pipe you have posted a picture of is attached to the cat, there is then a 'suitcase' section that runs across the car with a pipe coming out at a right (ish) angle facing the rear of the car. You then attach the rear box to that.
