Chris Smith 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Alright chaps, I feel like a heathen scum posting this on here, but here goes! I bought a Mk2 Golf GTI 8V Digi yesterday. Planning on using it as a daily driver to take the strain off my Corrado. It seems to have a problem. When slowing down, shifting my way down the gears, it has a tendancy to stall as I select a lower gear. The revs seem to be coming down too low after lifting off the gas, if it doesn't stall the car struggles at sub 900rpm and then idles alright at about 1000rpm after a second or two. Any thoughts as to what this could be?
