carter711 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Hey, I've been offered some wheels from an Imprezza... 16 x 6.5 J 100 PCD Offset or ET 55 Will these fit a C VR6? Chars.
Jonny777 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Are they 5x100? You dont specify. But yeah, ET55 on a Corrado is a rather safe offset tbh. I'm running 15x7 with an ET25 and they're still well inside the arch.
BILLCOR 1 Posted September 2, 2009 Hey, I've been offered some wheels from an Imprezza... 16 x 6.5 J 100 PCD Offset or ET 55 Will these fit a C VR6? Chars. They should be 5x100, but the ET is to high, you would need to use 15-20mm spacer's, also the centre bore on the Scooby rims will be 56mm, where as, VW's are 57.1, you would need to have these machined out
StuartFZR400 0 Posted September 3, 2009 See wiki for standard offset for VR, says 43. There is a sticky thread for working out offset. In theory you're loosing 12mm, and thus getting closers to the inner arch, suspension legs etc, hence someone said you'd need spacers. You know how small 12mm is right? ... Be surprised if they did foul. As for clipping your brake calipers, this should not be a problem with a 16" wheel. They'd only foul if the spoke of the wheel were seriously inverted. They're not on a scooby from memory. The killer is the centre hole as he says.
