James. 9 Posted October 26, 2009 Somebody throw me a line please as this is nearly getting the better of me... 1, Turn the ignition key to the on position (but don't turn the engine over) 2, Relay 67 clicks and clicks and clicks... 3, Have changed the relay for another relay 67 and a relay 167 but still the same. 4, Can hear the fuel pump whirring away along with a kind of noise that resembles air in the pipes. It's coming from behind the drivers side rear wheel. Advice and/or help is warmly welcomed
G60_Marc 0 Posted October 26, 2009 What car 16v/G60/VR6 ? fuel pressure sensor on fuel rail ? (G60) wire off it or sensor failed. A complete guess

Supercharged 2 Posted October 28, 2009 Knackered ignition switch maybe?
James. 9 Posted October 28, 2009 Would the ignition switch do this ? It does stop clicking once the engine is turning over. Sometimes it clicks a couple of times. Then another time a bit more. But mostly it clicks all the time... Is the relay pointing to a faulty part or could it be something unrelated to the fuel pump ?
