The car starts no bother but i've gotta keep my foot on the throttle for a we while till she warms up! am i right in saying its the blue sensor and if so where about is it?!? mrbeige 0 Posted November 19, 2009 The blue temp sesnor is in the plastic thermostat housing at the front right hand corner of the block, just below the inlet manifold. It sounds like likely candidate for the problem, basically reading a higher temp than it should.

volksworld13 0 Posted November 22, 2009 yes isv stands for idle stabilisation valve, suspect coolant temp sensor open circuit, or out of perameters, check with a multimeter on ohms if open the display will read blank no reading :D
