question about wheel alignment

Recommended Posts

im going to be replacing the wishbone bushes and ball joints at the front of the car and then fitting coilovers all round.i plan to get a 4 wheel alignment done after. The thing is i have to fit spacers on the rear wheels to clear the springs. Would this affect the wheel alignment process as the wheels at the back will be sticking out further than the front?

if it a laser 4 wheel alignment system, i think it will be ok, it should still recognise the flag attached to the wheel wen setting it up.i cant see it giving any funny reading either, as fitting spacers on the rear is affecting camber or caster to a massive degree.

Yeah it will be fine, most cars have differences between the front & rear track width, look at the new scirocco the rear track is huge!
