Mawrick 0 Posted April 22, 2010 I thought the Passat VR6 and the Corrado VR6 fron hub/assembly was the same - but found out the Estorils rims I use on the passat actually touch the calipers in front of the corrado - do these cars have different ET's etc?. I was under the impression that wheels on a VR6 is pretty much interchangable.......but so wrong can one be :) they fit fine in the back though...:)
coullstar 0 Posted April 23, 2010 Probably have 288mm brakes on the Passat therefore no brace bar on the caliaper like you do on the Corrado's 280mm calipers.
Supercharged 2 Posted April 23, 2010 If it's an early Passat VR then it might be base suspension with 5 stud - they did this for on chassis year... If so you will notice the brake discs are a different offset and I'm guessing the wheels will be ET33 rather than ET43 for Plus suspension
