Loose wiring (photos included)

Hi all,

 

Been doing some work under the bonnet the last few days and have noticed a couple of wires and connections loose or not where they should be, can anyone shed any light on the following?

 

This is taken from above the throttle body and towards the ground on the left had side:

 

Taken by the raditor fan:

 

This came out of the oil breather pipe which comes off the head, the photo shows where it came from:

 

Any help or guidance is much appreciated!

the yellow with black stripe is just a loose wire, doesnt go anywhere, i be;ive its used for diagnostics.

 

The wire mess goes inside the rocker cover where the black valve fits - i think its for flame arresting. Cant quite make ot the top wires you're pointing out tbh

That yellow wire can fit if you have one of these on your oil-filter housing :)

 

 

If I'm not mistaken by the first wires those are for the Oxygen sensor - there is one connection for the oxygen sensor and one for a knock sensor back there....a bit hard to tell from the pic...:)

The one in the first pic looks like its for the lambda sensor, its not the first time i've seen this broken - my vr included.
