CRANK BOLT

Hi does anyone know any good crank bolt / pulley combos to stop the wobble im getting again? I did the golf pully bolt mod about 5 years ago. Wobble started again but got it early this time!

On a G60? - just use the standard bolt that VW supply for that engine.

No sorry - I don't work for G-werks but Darren said a while ago that the new VW bolts are now ok to use - maybe you need a new pulley too though...

 

I'd give G-werks a call maybe and just confirm.

ok chap will do, godamn its a tight bolt though, wont shift. Need a industrius air gun...

yep, if it's been on a while or is the factory original a normal impact gun won't touch it.

Well in the end I got the car towed down to a local garage where the guy used an airgun the size of a small house :nuts:

 

Want one the thing was brilliant! Crank good...

 

Ordered new pulley, tensioner, bolt, belts and getting ali pulley re datummed at the engineers....
