2) BLACK MK2 Golf GTi 8v had it for a year and it got written off. Insurance money went into the Corrado fund 8)

 

Was the Jackal for a year to the day saving for the C and

It looks like most Corrados owners have had a Golf Gti at some point in their lives. I sold my last one to a lad with a gti too! I

 

Here are mine in order:

 

VW Beetle 1303s (Never saw the road as it was a rust bucket - and i got conned... .head ruling the heart i think)

VW Beetle 1200 Jeans Beetle colour. used for just over a year, then it failed the MOT, and was too much to repair.

VW Beelte 1303s Sky Blue Metallic (still own)... this car is dying, as is it suffering from terminal rusting disease.

A Micra! (given to me by my grandad, cos the beetle was always breaking down!) It was horrible. Got me around without breaking down tho, unlike the Beetles!

Peugeot 306 D Turbo. (boring car!)

F Reg Toyota Supra (how crap do they look on the roads nowadays!)

Mk 2 Gti. 2 Door - White. Totally standard. Lots of fun. Still look back and think 'what a car!'

Corrado 2.0 16v (was a nice car, but had been messed around and messed up with by the crafty cockney dealer that flogged it me and robbed me in the process!)

1303 Apple Green Beetle. (still own) Bought off a guy that had owned it all its life. Its a minter, but doesnt get driven enough cos its always raining! Will be taking it to Stanford Hall this year, hopefully along with the VR

Corrado VR6. (current) and by a mile the best of the water cooled cars i have owned. Already cant wait to finish work and drive it!

Ok I'm 22 and since 1999 have owned 4 VWs prior to the 2 I own now:

 

1988 Mk Golf 1.6 diesel

1992 Vento 1.9 Turbodiesel

1993 Vento 1.9 diesel

1984 Mk2 Golf GTI 3dr

 

And at the moment:

1983 Mk1 Golf 1.1 (hopefully will soon read 1983 golf mk1 G60)

And I also want a corrado (Grey G60, not too many mods), just in case anyone was wondering what I'm doing here!

:D MK1 Golf in Lahasa Green, (My favourite car) with a fully balanced GTi Engineering RE2000 engine, knife edge crank, Shrek Cam, Super Sprint 4-2-1 manifold, Sebring exhaust, AutoTech anti roll bars, Sacks Sporting suspension. And poly bushes in the right places. Got written off when some drunk Ba***rd jumped a red light and tore the front off of it, still feel gutted about it. :(

well if i were you i would re-read your policy :wink: ............cos the driving any other cars means in 99.9% of insurance company speak..........."any other cars not owned by you or leased to you under a hire purchase agreement".......so you were either driving them Illegally or you haven't owned them :shock: :shock: :shock: .......not meaning to spoil yer party etc......but its best to learn about these.....on a reasonably friendly forum......... before you find out the hard way :cry:

It means you can drive other cars third party only ..... that aren't owned by you!!

 

Probably the main reason why insurance companies no longer let under 25's do this at all.

which if the insurance company found out about...............they would void any claim you made :roll: ..........apart from cheating the insuance company.....your also cheating yourself......and if you were to have an accident then you could be open to potentially serious litigation etc
