davidwort 0 Posted October 12, 2010 err, don't forget to support the engine, the starter bolts hold the front engine mount bracket on!

davidwort 0 Posted October 12, 2010 cheers so a jack under the engine should do the job be gentle, put a lump of wood between the jack and the sump :)
carrots 1 Posted October 13, 2010 cheers for that ,just hope a jack and wood will fit because the car is so low
davidwort 0 Posted October 13, 2010 cheers for that ,just hope a jack and wood will fit because the car is so low bit of a faff, but it might be easier to put the front of the car on axle stands under the front sills/rear subframe mounts first and then put the jack unde rthe engine, that would give you easy access to the lower starter bolt from underneath then too.
