CazzaVR 0 Posted April 14, 2011 Gutted! Threw one away a couple of weeks ago :( I'm sure someone will have one, as these don't tend to sell very well when people break a car, and they're often left hanging around and end up in the skip!
boost monkey 0 Posted April 14, 2011 JC, can't you repair yours? it's only plastic.
8vMatt 1 Posted April 14, 2011 We have one still attached to the car. Can you say the best way to disconnect and drain?
CazzaVR 0 Posted April 14, 2011 Matt, the fuel pipes just pull (or cut if need be) off. It's really easy to remove- just take the 3 straps off and ease it down. From memory that was all there was to it, although I'm sure if there are any more fixings you'll notice them easy enough. Just siphon the fuel out :)

J Corrado 0 Posted April 15, 2011 Hi guys, thanks for the replies. As above the straps need to be taken off and the 2 bolts up near the neck as advised, plenty of lubricant needed in most cases!! Also when taking out don't forget to take the sender unit from the top of the tank to avoid any damage. Tar J
