fla 9 Posted May 6, 2011 Could someone kindly check the physical temps of their relays (ecu, fuel pump etc) after driving the car? Yesterday most felt quite hot to touch. I know they generate heat being solenoids, but i didnt think they get hot, perhaps warm but not hot. If this is normal, is there a 'cooling line' from the vent system thats meant to keep their temps down at all?
weetos 0 Posted May 6, 2011 they will be warm but not hot to touch, i'd get em replaced anyway, poor contacts can reek havock with voltage drop and our cars ecu does all sorts of wierd things with low voltage probs. No there is no "cooling line" to them
