Kempy 0 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) hi all My 16v cable seems to vibrate and whip back when I change up or come off the gas, any ideas chaps? I worried it might snap thanks ryan [video=youtube_share;jPDEp8a6NRI] Edited September 8, 2011 by Kempy
davidwort 0 Posted September 1, 2011 unclip it from the throttle body (don't lose the little u shaped clip) and manually slide the inner cable in and out, does it move smoothly or grab and stick?
Kempy 0 Posted September 1, 2011 not smoothly no
davidwort 0 Posted September 1, 2011 it should slide silky smooth, if it's old then the inner cable may have worn through the outer sleeves plastic liner and you've got metal on metal, usually at the sharp bend in the cable above the inlet manifold, need a new cable I reckon.
