RW1 0 Posted March 23, 2012 This got me going... so I've been under the back end to check the Koni part number 8041-1108, which is the same as the current Koni catalogue. .
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 23, 2012 So the turret had to be drilled Chris? wow! Eh? You can't drill the turret. Any suspension that required the bodywork to be modified would be packed back up and sent back immediately. I can't believe anyone would take drills to the bodywork just to fit some shock absorbers. I'm still not sure we're even on the right wavelength anyway. Are we talking about the hole in the turret where the rubber donuts sit either side of? If so, then WTF??! Is all I can say to that! daves16v 1 Posted March 23, 2012 Going back about 8 years the rear Koni's on my valver required the washer to be drilled out. The shocker shaft is definitely a bigger diameter, in fact it says in the install guide to drill the rears out.
