Has anybody got a Mazda 6 estate???

Hi Guys.

Was just wondering if any body has an Mazda 6 estate cause we are looking around for a new car and if we sell our truck we will have about 6k to spend.

We need it to be an estate cause of the kids. We have had a A4 before but don't want the running cost of an Aud (parts servicing ect) and the less I spend on keeping the family car on the road the more I've got to spend on the Corrado lol.

I like the look of the Mazda 6 and you get a lot of car for your money.

So if anyone has one, what are they like?? Are they cheap for a reason??

Current model or the last shape? Both good cars. My sister has a previous shape. Petrol. But the diesel is pretty good

They are nice to drive and most have climate etc but some bits can seem a bit plastic on the older ones

Was thinking around 05/06, so the older shape I guess.

Hoping to get the top end one with leather and satnav and get the 2.0 diesel.

No but my old man has the new Mazda 3 and he loves it, they've had Mazda's for 14 years now. The 6 is just a bigger version to the 3. (recommended)

JohnnyH, I had a Mazda 6 2.3 Sport saloon, 55 plate. I had it for 2 years as a company car and I have to say it was brilliant, 100% reliable (and cheap to service/parts) great performance, handling and comfort. Mine had leather, Bose sound, and electric everything and I would highly recommend it. The estate will be just as good and even more practical.

 

They are cheap because the are simply overlooked. However, people in the "know" realise how good they are.
