Lemans Classic 24 hours 2012

I thought some of you might be interested in the few pictures I took whilst working at Lemans classic this year. To anyone that gets to do it, do it once but never again! Hardest weekend of my life by far haha.

 

This is the first of the Porsche 356's I supported, quite a famous car within early porsche circles.

 

And another one I was looking after, a very quick pre-a by any standards

 

The companies 1964 901 fault free weekend for this car

 

GT40 #1080, unfortunately this car did not finish after suffering engine failure

 

3.0L 911 RSR, this did us proud, finishing well despite a few minor problems.

What an opportunity, wow !!!

 

This is on my list of places to go........... I hear it is a brilliant event.

 

Will probably organise a Corrado Trip in some point and then spend all my time convincing everyone, yes their cars will and can make it !!!! :-)

Next year hoping on a 25th Anniversary to be held in Germany..............still waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a fantastic event, I'd love to be a spectator but its a hard working weekend, we worked 31 hours on the trot once the race started.

It's only about 6 hours from Calais, I'd be interested in a Corrado road trip.

Love the shape of the 1964 901 company hack.... In fact every company should run one, better than a diesel A3!

 

I could be interested in a Le Mans trip at some point, would probably have to be next year for me now though....
