poll250 0 Posted October 23, 2012 These never seem to come up! I put a wanted ad up every couple of months for one. I don't know if it's possible to use the AA light and wire in the AA connector?
Jim Bowen 1 Posted October 23, 2012 yeah, hard to get hold of, i've paid about £20 for each of mine, got 3 now, all broken in some way or another
MarkMark 10 Posted October 23, 2012 Don't understand why there are so many different ones - my 1995 VR6 is BA, the part I mistakenly bought was from another 1995 VR6 but is AA and the part number that VW looked up under my registration plate is BD! (and £140!)
Dox 23 Posted October 23, 2012 Whats wrong with your lights? There was a thread here about changing the bulb inside the light unit, it worked for me. You can buy the bulbs from RS spares, but have to buy a minimum of
MarkMark 10 Posted October 23, 2012 I need the whole ABS light unit unfortunately but thanks for the info - may come in handy in future or if the one I eventually source has a bad bulb.
poll250 0 Posted January 28, 2013 Just to drag this up again, can you use an older switch (part 535 919 235 B) instead? There are plenty of these on ebay etc Does anyone know what many pins are on the back of the older switch (B)?
