Saichy 10 Posted November 23, 2012 Hi all after the other day when we had heavy rain and flooding my 9a has been playing up. On start up runs fine when you try to drive it bogs down and struggles to go. Clears up after a minute or so but its really annoying. Runs fine after it clears up. Ive changed the dizzy cap and rotary arm to no joy. Any idea please people. Thanks dan
dumptyboy 0 Posted November 23, 2012 Possibly lambda/oxygen sensor wiring, or the sensor itself? If not then possibly temperature sensor (or associated wiring) near the dizzy cap? That would be my guess. :)
Saichy 10 Posted November 23, 2012 Whats the best way to check?
Saichy 10 Posted November 25, 2012 Right ive looked for a vacum leak and i cant find anything. Checked the plug to the dizzy and it all seemed in order far as i could tell. But when i clipped it back together noticed that the bit it clips in is broken and wobbles about. Could that be the cause? Really doing my head in now :(
davidwort 0 Posted November 25, 2012 A guy recently had water in his air filter causing similar problems
CazzaVR 0 Posted November 25, 2012 As above, check the airbox. Unplug the sensor in the side of it and make sure it's totally dry.

VW_chris 10 Posted December 10, 2012 have you looked for a vacuum leak using brake or carb cleaner. it is the easiest way of finding a vacuum leak rather than just looking over the hoses
