I hope to sell the Storm this year. One guy interested in coming up here in Spring to look.

June 1995. 108K. Mostly unmodified except for Goodridge/Samco. e.g. Not what you'd call mint, though.

Was looking for £4k last year. Probably accept £3.5 this year.

Classic green with cream leather.

I am second mature owner (67).

Pics in gallery.

Hi Craig, do you mean your old Craigowl gallery, think it as last updated 2007ish. Have you any more details, im specifically interested in body condition (rust and dents) and any engine work undertaken to date (chains noise, tappets noise, puffs of oil smoke on overrun etc), PM me if you like

Is it just a mint vr6 you are looking for? As i have a mint (originally G60) now a R32 but you would seriously have to look at your price range to get a viewing of this regard's James.

To be honest James I don't think my price range is unreasonable at all, as I mentioned before I just sold a very adequate VR6 that had previously had a full £4k engine rebuild in my ownership for £1k. The unfortunate fact is it is irrelevant what has been put into a car it is not going to hold a value that one likes to think it will, especially one that has been heavily modified. Put ANY Corrado up for a price over £6k and I will be genuinely surprised if you get your "expected" value; especially one that has been converted to a vr6 that started out as a 4 pot, thats just going to attract all sorts of insurance premiums. I have a few other classic cars that were chosen wisely and have fortunately attracted significant value over the years but both of these are classics with very low mileage and are still as they were the day they drove out the factory, i believe it really is the only way if you want to command a premium price.

I will pay a "reasonable" price for a good/mint Corrado because (likely to my financial detriment) I love the car for what it is but the grim reality is they are not at this time holding their value, you have to look at the market as it is not how you want it to be.

Put it up for sale, prove me wrong!!!

I'll pass for now thanks.

I hear what your saying mate but firstly mine is an R32 not a vr6 at this particular time i am not ready to sell i just wanted to see if there was any interest out there also i feel the figure i had in mind reasonable it is a sad situation at the minute that your is worth more in part's but thing's i am sure will change for the corrado until then i will keep a hold of mine.

Thank's for the reply

Regard's James.

I think your pricing is bang on at the minute and knowing what the last few decent cars have sold for then your on the right track.. I`m considering a come back simply due to the prices being low and know goods car can be found.Good luck with your search.

Unfortunately this very cruel true.

Last VRT sold on ebay few months back went for 5k and was for sale for very long time

Kevs R32 4,5k

C5 OEM, 3k I believe for mint storm but high mileage

Mine VR6 in very good mechanical conditions, as new interior, fully refubed, just needs respray, no rust, Advertised at 1850 - NO INTERESTS AT ALL !! I believe if I will put it on ebay will end up around 1k :(

I know many of you, including myself put a lot of effort and money in our Corrado's but this is not Escort cossworts or audi S2 and it will never hod it's value.

What I noticed is..... No matter how mint is your VR6 you won't get more than 2,5k for it, max 3-3,5 if mileage is less than 80k.

16V, you will be lucky getting 1,5k

G60 - looks like their value is much higher as VR6, they getting rare now.

Concluding, we have to wait another 15 years to get more money for our cars.

My friend recently bought evo 7 with 550 PS and invoices for engine at 32k pounds for 7k pounds. Compare this car to corrado and honestly answer to yourself. Is it worth to put more money to my car ??

Yes - if you love it and like to keep it.

No- If you plan to sell it.

I'm looking to sell mine as i've not used it in a while, it's dragon green and had fresh paint around 2 years ago with new roof rubbers.

I'll have to check but i think the mileage is around 106k, but had a top end rebuild not long after i bought the car and i've put hadly any miles on it.

It is'nt standard, it has 312mm front brakes, mk4 rear calipers, braided brake hoses, Koni TA shocks with H&R springs, Eibach ARBs, Rear strut brace, full Jetex exhaust DG autotech Uprated Headlight Loom, all red rears, TT wipers and also a gruppe m air filter.

Oh it has a full black leather interior!

I've got a few performance mods left unsold, that are new and unfitted that could be included if interested they are in my signature below!!
