Goldie 2 Posted January 5, 2013 It does come with the metal clip that secures it to the bracket. That is what had snapped on mine...
VAG-hag 0 Posted January 6, 2013 Yeah generally that is the bit that goes..... if only they sold them separately! Thought the trumpet bit was long time obsolete?

GusPW 0 Posted January 6, 2013 (edited) Yeah generally that is the bit that goes..... if only they sold them separately! Thought the trumpet bit was long time obsolete? Vw in reading had told me the trumpet bit was obsolete in the past, and I've seen people selling second hand ones for silly money but called them yesterday and ordered 2 using the part number posted earlier. About £8 each. Edited January 6, 2013 by GusPW
Goldie 2 Posted January 8, 2013 I was back at the dealers today after collecting a hundred quids worth of nuts and bolts.. I asked about the nipple (trumpet). He said there are less than 5 available at the factory so best get your skates on...
VAG-hag 0 Posted January 9, 2013 I was talking about the clip bit near the handle not the trumpet part.....
Jon_vr6 1 Posted January 9, 2013 Yeah the clip bit is obsolete Chris, as it comes with the new bonnet cable
