lard44 0 Posted January 30, 2013 Hey all, Long time lurker first time poster - I'm soon to be the proud owner of this beauty... Standard and unmolested VR6 Corrado - a car belonging to a member of the site whose stamp may be visible in the photo I've pinched from eBay ;-) I didn't actually realise I had an account, but it would appear that I've been drooling over Radoporn for some years! Long time lover of Dubs and own a variety of Golfs, a Beetle and a Camper all in varying states of repair (I'm a regular on CGTi, VZi and RR) but I've lusted after a Corrado for some time and the VR6 is a modern marvel of engineering - and it sounds pretty good too! Not got many 'plans' for it as such - It's too original to ruin - just thinking a very subtle drop of about 35mm, maybe a different set of wheels (thinking Mk3 Golf BBS or possibly Audi Pepperpots) and update the stereo to take my iPod. Then roll it as is for the Summer whilst I mothball one of my Golfs that needs urgent attention... Will get a reader's rides thread going when I have the car! Jim Bowen 1 Posted January 30, 2013 Hello and welcome. Looks nice, i remember going to see my 1st corrado and was that colour. Is that a badge above the side repeater?
lard44 0 Posted January 30, 2013 You know what, I hadn't noticed them There's one on each side but they look like shop bought V6 stick on badges to me. If they are still there they'll be destined for the bin tbh.
