Richie_FSOB 0 Posted May 12, 2004 If it was mine, it would have to be a stainless exhaust, and a set of aftermarket alloys, 16" or 17" dependant on the ride comfort you want. Other than that, the car looks great, one of the best colours IMO, and seems well looked after. Also, nice side repeaters
Bojmobile 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Nice car - good colour! I'd get a stainless - mine is a powerflow and makes the car sound super meaty, remove the 16v badge from the grill - mine looks better without IMHO and if your rear VW badge is faded and grey then get a spray can of your colour from Volkswagen and colour code it(see below) - I think it looks better and makes the car seem lower somehow! :| 8)
Jim 2 Posted May 12, 2004 Looks excellent! Reminds me of my 2.0 16v *sniff* Just shows that a standard Corrado doesn't exactly need anything doing to it other than a suspension drop to make it look soooo good :) The Estoril wheels are awesome but... if you wanna change the look of it, good aftermarket alloys seem to totally change the appearance of the Corrado. That and a nice shiny new exhaust system too :D
kvwloon 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Doesn't need anything doing to it in my opinion, except maybe an eyebrow spoiler. Looks great as is !
coolrado 0 Posted May 12, 2004 i would agree keep it simple the eye brow and maybe a de badged grill the rear vw badge also looks good in black and a set of bbs splits would be nice nice lookin c allready tho
Phil K 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Lower the front a bit more?  No really, alloys (16" split rims IMO) nice back box and a set of in-pros' that and a de-badged grill and you'll have it looking 8)
Bally 0 Posted May 13, 2004 8) Some nice rims, eyebrow, coilovers...
mrbeige 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Thanks for the compliments guys. Will probably do the following to the C Stainless Exhaust - nothing to stupid, don't want to turn into a nova/corsa boy  Change the Side Repeaters (on the car when I bought it) for normal clear rectangular ones :!: Debadged grill Colour code rear badge - as suggested by Bojmobile Tint rear light all red for the mo (then some red/clear) Phil K, Lower the front a bit more? Definately :!: Thought about getting the rims diamond cut/polished? Yes/no? What do you reckon?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 13, 2004 All I would do is some colour coding:- Number plate surround, centre VW emblem, door handles and side mouldings. And a light red tint on the top halves of the rear lights. K
mrbeige 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Choices choices choices :? thought about taking the side mouldings off?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 13, 2004 Taking the side mouldings off sometimes reveals previous paint work as they use that as a reference line. Some of the more fortunate folk that haven't had paint done on their Cs can get away with it. I went for it, didn't like what I found so colour keyed them and stuck em back on! mrbeige 0 Posted May 13, 2004 I'll give it a go, and if I don't like what I find, I'll probably do what you did! cheers kevhaywire, Stu
yalan 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Thought about getting the rims diamond cut/polished? Yes/no? What do you reckon? Hmmm - just what I was thinking too..... polished estorils - saw a set at gti international for £300. Very pleasant on the eye!! from : http://www.corrado-database.nl/index.php?item=view_corrado&id=423&PHPSESSID=3765babce8b13836dbceb99cb36b37fd

Bojmobile 0 Posted May 14, 2004 Got nay pics of the interior? Any thoughts about that? I recently changed mine from scabby old grey cloth to VR6's mint black cloth interior - looks so much sharper and newer.
mrbeige 0 Posted May 14, 2004 Was going to do that too! Just need to find one now! :D
Bojmobile 0 Posted May 15, 2004 It really makes the difference - do you have the old bench style rear seats? I have just got rear seats with the armrest and it just looks so much better. Like the reason for this thread - the Corrado is an amazing car in all it's guises but you still always wanna change it a little yourself just to give it that special feel - even little things like colour-coding your rear badge make a difference and give you a lot of pride. Best of luck making it yours mate!

Jim 2 Posted May 17, 2004 That black 16v on polished estorils belongs to Dave Bloomfield.. its a really really nice car, and he has had the interior retrimmed in black and grey leather - its proper bo I tell thee. Even better to look at in real life too :)
